Recently, a lot of you have asked if the blog (and the trip) are still happening. And those questions have not been without merit, as I just realized it's been almost a month since my last post! The short answer is yes (on both counts) ... But it may yet be a little while longer before I post again (or check any other states off the list). For context, the camp counselor gig I mentioned in my most recent post lasted a bit longer than the 1 week I expected it to - in fact, it's ongoing (after the first session another counselor quit and I offered to fill in; the session after that another counselor had to leave unexpectedly and I again offered to fill in). I'm not sure if I'll end up staying the whole summer here at camp, but I think there's a good chance I will as I've found a home here and have come to the realization that there's no need to rush through the odyssey - it's ok if it takes a few months longer than expected and if I need to remap the itine...
